Parliament 2015

Year 7's it is time to form a parliament for 2015 and you are all needed. Check out the
Parliament 2015 page for further details on what you need to do and also what roles we have.

Unit of Inquiry

On Wednesday we began our first Unit of Inquiry unit for the year.
Our Central Idea for this Unit is

Cultural and Environmental Factors affect the Human Body.

In this unit we will be investigating the human body and how it works. We will also look at what impacts on our bodies, how we can look after them and that global health is all our responsibility.

We would like to start the conversation and have a wall where this can happen. Be involved and have a say here:

We look forward to seeing what you have to save.

Lego Community Day

Dear Parent/Caregivers

As part of building our school community the Senior Unit will be hosting a celebration of the unique construction toy, “Lego.”  Wednesday the 28th of January sees the anniversary of the Lego brick being patented in 1958 and we would like to celebrate this auspicious occasion.

The theme for the day is “Let’s Build” and children will have a chance to build with Lego and have some fun creating.

To help us celebrate this day and add to the community feel we would love for children to bring in a Lego construction they have made. This construction will be displayed in the shelter to provide everyone a chance to see the great building that has occurred during the holidays. Constructions will be displayed and watched over by the Senior Unit teachers and can be collected at the end of the day to be taken home.

There will be a range of other activities that children can do throughout the day as we build our school community.

We look forward to an awesome day!
