Fraction Thinking
We have been working on fractions in Numeracy and as part of our activities we had to create fraction families to show our understanding of concept. Here are a few examples of what we did.
Passions
Many students have passions in our class and we try to share those passions here. Over the holidays Myles got a telescope and has been taking photos of space. Here are some of his pictures.

About Us
As part of our school week we have a circle time on Thursday. This is a great opportunity to build our class community and discuss class topics in a friendly environment. As part of our circle time we are sharing about ourselves and the children are bringing in objects that tell us about them and having them displayed in the classroom. It has been great to find out more about each other.
First Day Of Term
On the first day of term we always have a look at our goals and also how we would like to work as a class this year. The children had a chance to think and record ideas they had for each of our behaviour spot thinking and then we shared what we had come up with. Here is a mind map of our goals.
Some of our class took up the challenge of creating a Lego Mini Figure for our Lego day. Here are the great designs
