School Photo Day
Just in case you missed it, school photos are this Thursday. A note went home tonight about what to wear and about payment of photos. It should be pretty quick and painless process that will produce great pics.

Author Visit: Rosanne Hawke
On Friday we had a visit from the author Rosanne Hawke. This happened on Friday afternoon and involved the 4 -7. It was great to hear about her writing experiences and the adventures she has been on that has influenced her writing.
It was a great opportunity to find out how an author operates.
For more information on Rosanne Hawke visit her website.

Week 6
Well Week 6 is here and there is plenty happening. Lets take a look and see what is going on.
Concert
The Gala Awards night is shaping up with rehearsal of the opening number in full swing. This week will see more practising and organising of the class items.
Costumes: We have talked about what to wear on the night and that it needs to be formal like wear, that can be performed in. Think about if you are doing cartwheels or bending over and if your clothes are going to work. If you need hints, ideas come and talk to us.
Also this week we will be filming scenes so bring in the clothes you need for those scenes, this will be discussed as the week goes on.
The Stage is Set!
This Tuesday students will compete in the Athletics carnival. We wish all the students the best and look forward to hearing about the great sportsmanship and competition.
Book Week
On Friday we had a great book week parade and it was awesome to see all the costumes people wore in honour of a book character. Well done to everyone involved in the costume design and creation. For more book week information check out the winners here: http://cbca.org.au/winners-2015.htm
Here are some cryptic photos of costumes from Friday
